The College Nurse
We have a college nurse, Jan Brighting who you can see for any health problems or about counselling.
You can find Jan in G10 (ground floor of G staircase, Red Buildings) between 11.30 and 1 pm on weekdays. Jan can be contacted on 01223 332421 or 01223 338122 or by email
Doctors
You are strongly advised to register with a GP when you arrive at Pembroke (a list of local practices can be found here). The closest surgeries to college are Lensfield Road or Tumpington Street.
Dentists
You are also strongly advised to register with the University Dental Service or another NHS dentist whilst in Cambridge.
The University Dental Service:
- Has free registration
- Gives free treatment (on the NHS) to patients under 19
- Has routine and emergency appointments
- Provides sports mouth guards at a small charge
- Is open Mon- Fri 9-12.45 and 2-5pm

Sports Injury Clinic
The Sports Injury Clinic is located at Addenbrooke's. It's free to students but can only treat injuries if you haven't been to A & E already and the injury is less than 48 hrs old. Open Mon, Wed, and Fri mornings on first come first served basis.
