The Committee meet a few times a term to discuss welfare-related issues within college and works alongside the JPC to represent all students in college. The concerns of the Equal Opportunities Committee are represented by the Welfare Officer at Pembroke JPC meetings.

The Equal Opportunities Committee may be invited to attend any intervening JPC meeting at the discretion of the JPC (but they have no voting rights on the JPC, although the JPC's Welfare Officer, who chairs the Welfare Committee, does).
