tour of the College from 11:15am, accompany the pupils to a FREE lunch in
hall at 12 noon and hopefully to a museum such as Zoology until 2pm.
Of course, if anyone is only available for the morning or afternoon that is
still really appreciated as I am looking for 3-4 volunteers throughout the
day.
If you are interested please email me (hb305@cam.ac.uk)

thinks they come under the broad arch of LBGT, and I encourage anyone who
wants to to come along. We'll be heading to 'Thrust', Cambridge's

5. The Round Folk Dancing: Members Wanted
The Round (English Folk Dancing Society) is looking for new members
The Round is a group of people who meet every Thursday to dance and have
fun. The type of dancing we do is mainly Playford (sort of like you see in
Jane Austen films) and ceilidh dances. The dances are called, so no
experience is necessary and no partner is needed either. We meet every
Thursday during term at the Wesley Methodist Church between 8-10pm. On the
16th October we will be having a Freshers squash. We will meet at the
Hopbine at 7.30 before having a session specifically designed for people who
have never folk danced before. We look forward to seeing you there.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6. Fitz Swing: Members Wanted
Fitz Swing are a professional standard big band/swing jazz outfit made up of
people from all colleges. We play regular gigs around Cambridge throughout
the year; you'll hear us at most of the college balls in May Week. We go on
a heavily subsidised band tour at the end of July every year and recently we
have been to Italy, Spain and Croatia.
At this time of year, we look for new band members. If you want to be in the
band, then you'll need to get an audition first. Send an email (detailing
relevant experience/playing standard) to gas34@cam.ac.uk or come and see us
at the Freshers' Fair in Kelsey Kerridge on Tuesday or Wednesday.
We're also looking out for anyone with any interest in jazz music (playing
or listening) to get in contact with us.
