The incumbent president of Pembroke JPC is Richard Stockwell.

The President's role as defined by the constitution is outlined below. In summary, the President acts as the figurehead for the JPC, receiving input from the students and ensuring that the committee is functioning as it should and that we are working as a team to accomplish our aims, whatever they might be at the present moment. He/she is also the primary link between college and students, and, as such, will usually lead the JPC in meetings with college staff and fellows. The President, along with the Vice-President, also represents Pembroke at CUSU meetings and holds a vote on CUSU council.
The President shall co-ordinate the activities of the JPC, and have general responsibility for all matters relating to the JPC and not specific to one of the other posts. These include:

The President shall exercise plenary powers between JPC meetings, but shall be responsible to the JPC for any decisions taken or actions made.
