JP elections: Results
The votes were counted immediately after the close of voting, and results
were announced officially at 10 p.m. on Thursday 12 February 2008.
The following
candidates are duly elected as members of the JPC or Equal Opportunities
Committee to serve until the elections to be held in Lent 2010:

The ballot papers, sealed in the ballot box, shall be kept until 10 p.m.
on Saturday 14 February, and any candidate may examine them in the
presence of the Returning Officer during this period.
