The JP Committee runs the College Student Union. It is made up of 11 full members and an Equal Opportunities Sub Committee. Elections happen twice a year (November and March) and half the Committee is elected at any one time. Any member of the Junior Parlour can stand for a post. The JPC are responsible for helping students with every aspect of their lives in Pembroke - from work to bops, from the computer room to the bar. They represent Pembroke students' interests with College and the Cambridge University Students Union. The JPC has weekly meetings at which important issues are discussed and minor decisions made. Forthcoming events are planned and policies are discussed.

Major descisions are made through regular Open Meetings (at least twice a term) where all students can speak and put motions for discussion.
